Square One Computer Training was formed in 1991 by Lisa McGinley to specialise in the provision of "Quality Training, Consultancy and Floorwalking" services to business users on a local and national basis.

Our success over the last 16 years has allowed us to continue offering these services and has seen the company expand to offer in-house training, initially from our software training centre in Oxton Village on the Wirral, and now from our prestigious new location in Birkenhead, as well as all over the UK.

We can cater for group training or simple one-to-one sessions (as required) and to ensure that "quality of service" is maintained at all times, we operate a policy of no more than eight delegates per session to guarantee that each individual's needs are fully met.

Our customers are our business partners and we are proud of their growth and to know that training is a large contributor to this.

Daresbury Laboratory...IT Training Contract to support world-leading science.
We are pleased to announce that we have won a contract to supply computer training to the world famous research laboratory at Daresbury, Cheshire.

The contract, which began on the 7 January 2007 and runs for 3 years, means that SquareOne will train the Laboratory's scientists, technicians, and support staff on all aspects of computer software including Microsoft Office, ECDL, AutoCAD, Programming Languages, Web Design and Learning Lunches.

Square One trains Oil Companies...
When Mobil Oil in Wallasey closed its plant several years ago. SquareOne was asked to do the redundancy/reskills training for up to 75 people.

Mobil Oil staff gave excellent feedback and as a result of this we now train many new organisations where we have been recommended by Mobil Oil staff. These include: EssoServe Europe, ExxonMobil and BP.
